Spinal Orthosis

Custom and custom-fit spinal orthoses for scoliosis, injury, post-operative care and support.

Spinal orthoses are designed to support, stabilize or influence the alignment of the spine. Depending on the individual’s condition and treatment goals, bracing may be used to manage spinal curvature, protect the spine following injury or surgery, limit specific movements or provide additional support.

Our Certified Orthotists provide custom and custom-fit spinal orthoses for children and adults, working closely with clients, families and referring healthcare teams throughout treatment.

Scoliosis Bracing

Custom scoliosis orthoses are designed to help reduce the risk of curve progression while a child or adolescent is still growing.

Unlike a general supportive TLSO, a scoliosis brace is designed specifically around the individual’s unique curve pattern. Using clinical assessment, measurements, 3D scanning and X-rays, each brace is designed to apply targeted corrective forces while providing space for the body to move toward a more balanced position.

Throughout treatment, we monitor fit, growth and curve correction, making adjustments as needed.

TLSO & LSO Bracing

Thoracolumbosacral orthoses (TLSOs) and lumbosacral orthoses (LSOs) provide support and stabilization to the thoracic and/or lumbar spine.

These braces may be used following spinal injury or surgery, or for conditions such as compression fractures, kyphosis, spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis.

Depending on the individual’s diagnosis and needs, we provide both custom and custom-fit designs to achieve the appropriate level of support and motion control.

Cervical Orthoses

Cervical orthoses are used to support, stabilize or limit movement of the neck following injury or surgery, or for conditions affecting the cervical spine.

Depending on the level of support required, options range from soft cervical collars to more rigid cervical orthoses. Each orthosis is carefully selected and fitted based on the individual’s condition and treatment needs.
