Cranial remolding orthoses are custom helmets used to treat positional head-shape abnormalities in infants — guiding natural head growth into a more symmetrical shape.
Cranial Remolding Helmet
A cranial remolding orthosis works by gently redirecting an infant’s natural head growth — maintaining light, consistent contact over the prominent areas while leaving room for growth in the flattened areas.
Each helmet is custom-fabricated from precise measurements and adjusted at regular follow-ups as your child grows. The best results come from early intervention, typically between 4 and 12 months of age.

Assessment & Fitting
We begin with careful measurements and a scan of your child’s head to map the exact shape. The helmet is then fabricated and fine-tuned at scheduled follow-up visits.
Most infants adjust to wearing their helmet within a few days, and parents are coached on wear schedule, skin care and cleaning throughout treatment.
